Happy hour is it time to relax, unwind and forget about the work week. It’s a great way to connect with new friends, hang with your buddies, or have a glass of wine with your BFF. Whatever the reason that you frequent your local happy hour at 5:00 PM each Friday, it has probably become a tradition that you look forward to every single week. There is no better way to blow off steam then hanging out with good friends over an iced, cold beer.
Happy hour is different for everyone. I know some guys who are generally middle age, and their idea of happy hour is a pool bar, and a competitive game of darts. These guys are real animals on the pool table, and these leagues are always fun to watch. They take it so seriously, and all have eyes on Vegas for the national tournament each year.

The Boot Hill Saloon is one of the most famous biker bars in the entire world. It is a legendary place, and one step into this bar lets you know that it has a lot of history and even more stories to go with it. It’s famous enough to have been featured on the TV show “Born To Ride” which tells you it’s a pretty big deal!

One glance around and you see carvings in the wall that are decades old, bras hanging from the ceiling, various memorabilia hanging from the walls, and more. It really is a historically impressive place.

Every Friday like clockwork, we would meet at Cheap Shots to shoot pool from around 5:00 until 7:00, and then at 7p it was time for some No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker. We ran this routine for years and years, and used to drive our wives crazy as we constantly made up excuses as to why we were always late. Something about the place, the beer was just colder than anywhere else and even tasted better. I used to look forward to that all day on Friday. And walking in there was always a lot of fun, and even a little exciting!
